In October 2024, Christoph founded RailSync, a Hamburg based logistics startup that improves train coordination for intermodal players through smart digitalisation. One of its key goals is to modernise rail logistics operations and increase transparency by synchronising all stakeholders needed to coordinate rail freight trains within the company’s online-platform for slot management and communications. As CEO of RailSync, his focus is on further developing the product, expanding sales activities, and building the company’s organization and team.
Before his time with RailSync, Christoph completed his studies in Business Economics in 2011. Later in the same year, he joined EWE AG, Germany’s fifth-largest energy supplier, where he spent a total of nine years in various roles within the corporate group, including the role of Managing Director of a subsidiary he found and built up. During his time at EWE, he also completed a part-time Master’s program at RWTH Aachen University and WWU Münster.
From 2019 to 2024, he served as Chief Operating Officer for a software development company located in Bremen, Germany, specializing in fleet telematics, insurance telematics, and app development.
