Carles Rua

Carles Rúa Costa is an industrial engineer. His professional activity has been developed in the fields of logistics and management information systems, where he has acted as a freelance engineer and for consultancy companies. Nowadays, he works for the Port Authority of Barcelona as Chief Innovation Officer (CINO). In the university field, he has carried out his teaching activities in the Department of Business Organization of Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (BarcelonaTech) for more than 25 years. He is also director of the Master Executive in Lean Supply Chain Management (BarcelonaTech) and teacher of the Escola Europea for Intermodal Transport.
