Ian Rogerson is Managing Director of Bankside Systems, which he co-founded with Michael Weaver. They met at the BBC as engineers (ask Ian about the time he thought he’d accidentally switched off BBC2!), where they moved into software development and were involved in designing and supporting resource management systems.
In the 26 years since, Ian has worked with all sizes of business, from small charities to global corporates, and was introduced to the container industry in 2013. Afflicted with the gene of compulsive problem solving, a common theme throughout his career has been logistics, resource management and systems integration.
Ian has been heavily involved in designing and growing Intermodal Manager into a full-featured terminal operating system with a primary focus on inland terminals, and has enjoyed working with clients of all shapes and sizes to help them bring about technological change and efficiencies.
