Career in shipping, ports & logistics starting in UK with P&O Containers. Based in Rotterdam from 1993-98 as Operations Manager for Western Europe (I was part of the team that established the first private train from Rotterdam to Milan that became European Rail Shuttle). Moved to Australia in 1998 and have worked in stevedoring then for the port authority before starting at Qube in 2012.
Qube is Australis’ largest logistics operator focused on import/export supply chains. I have built several operating assets including an export grain terminal and offshore energy supply base. Since 2020 I have managed Qube’s investment and development of an automated intermodal terminal in western Sydney. This A$400m terminal is focussed on the efficient transfer of containers from Port Botany 40km west to the industrial centre of Sydney. The terminal has an ultimate capacity of one million TEUs.”
