Intermodal Manager (IM) comes from Bankside Systems Ltd, a UK-based software company who have been providing logistics and resource management software for over 25 years, with customers ranging from small businesses through to corporates such as the BBC, NHS, Lloyds Bank and the AA. For the last 10 years the Intermodal Container sector has been the primary focus.
Intermodal Manager sprang from experience gained when Bankside were asked to support an existing depot management system based on old technology for an inland terminal provider. It became clear that huge improvements could be made by starting from scratch with a web-based, multi-terminal system that could run on a variety of devices, from phones to PCs.
Since then Bankside have been delighted to work with customers ranging from tiny depots to huge multi-nationals, and help them on the journey of adopting new technology to increase efficiency, reliability and connectivity. While other TOS’s tend to focus on marine terminals IM has always had its core functionality centred around inland terminals.
